About the Project: Evaluating Standardized Testing
Standardized testing and accountability has been an evolving conversation throughout education circles across the nation, the state of Colorado, and at Animas High School. Due to this conversation, Kyle Edmondson's senior Statistics class has decided to gather resources and develop research to help better understand standardized testing. Students investigated the nuts and bolts of testing through statistical analysis. The class quantified the variability of the ACT, wrote a standardized test in order to wrestle with the challenges of accurately quantifying knowledge, compiled annotated research and opinions, and surveyed the student body to discover attitudes towards testing. We would now like to invite you to browse this website, make use of the resources we have provided, and take a look at the results we have uncovered from this project.
